Terms of Use

Effective date: 18 April 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SparkHub Ticketing Portal at ticket.sparkhub.mv(the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

The Platform is operated by SparkHub LLP (“SparkHub”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By registering for any event through the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

The Platform provides an online ticketing and event registration service that enables individuals (“Attendees”) to discover and register for events organised by third-party hosts (“Event Hosts”). SparkHub acts as a technology intermediary and is not the organiser of any event listed on the Platform unless expressly stated.

SparkHub reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts and Registration

When registering for an event, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for ensuring the information you submit is truthful. Providing false or misleading information may result in cancellation of your registration without refund.

Your registration is personal and non-transferable unless explicitly permitted by the Event Host.

4. Tickets and Payment

All ticket registrations are subject to availability. Completion of the registration form does not guarantee a confirmed place. For paid events, your registration will be confirmed only upon receipt and verification of payment by the Event Host.

Payment is made directly to the Event Host using the method specified on the event page (bank transfer or QR code payment). SparkHub does not process payments on behalf of Event Hosts and is not responsible for payment errors, delays, or disputes.

Pending payment registrations are held for 48 hours. If payment is not confirmed within this period, the Event Host may release your spot.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

SparkHub does not issue refunds. All refund and cancellation policies are determined solely by the Event Host. If you wish to cancel your registration or request a refund, you must contact the Event Host directly using the contact details provided on the event page.

SparkHub is not liable for any failure by an Event Host to issue a refund to which you may be entitled.

6. Event Host Responsibilities

Event Hosts are solely responsible for the events they list on the Platform, including but not limited to:

  • The accuracy of event information (dates, location, description);
  • Delivery of the event as described;
  • Attendee safety and welfare;
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
  • Payment processing and financial arrangements with attendees;
  • Refund and cancellation handling.

SparkHub does not endorse, guarantee, or warrant the quality, safety, or legality of any event listed on the Platform.

7. Prohibited Conduct

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent registration information;
  • Attempt to register for events for which you are ineligible;
  • Resell or transfer tickets without the express written consent of the Event Host;
  • Use automated systems or bots to access or register on the Platform;
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the Platform;
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to the design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of SparkHub LLP or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without prior written permission.

Event Hosts retain ownership of all content they submit to the Platform (event descriptions, images, etc.) and grant SparkHub a non-exclusive licence to display such content on the Platform.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. SparkHub makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content on the Platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SparkHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or attendance at any event listed thereon, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury.

SparkHub’s aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the registration giving rise to such claim.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Maldives.

12. Changes to These Terms

SparkHub reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
